IPM, a private company, enforces parking at the University of Washington, Bothell / Cascadia campus. Parking in the garages and lots will cost $3 per visit (there are no in/out privileges. If you leave, you will have to pay again when you return). Students and employees may also buy a quarterly parking pass.
Here are some points to remember to help you avoid parking tickets:
Parking tickets may be appealed. To appeal a ticket follow the procedures that are located on the front of your ticket.
We have a very busy campus, with multiple crosswalks. For pedestrian safety, the 20 mph speed limit on campus is strictly enforced using radar. Stop signs are also enforced. Public Safety Officers will patrol the campus on foot, by bicycle, and vehicle. You are required by state law to yield to a campus safety vehicle whenever it displays emergency lights and/or activates its siren. Campus patrol cars are fully marked with public safety markings, lights, and sirens.
Tickets will be issued to anyone who violates the traffic laws on campus. Non-payment of tickets by students may result in withholding of credits. Payment of Parking/Traffic citations may be made at the Cashier's Office at UW1-160 or mailed to:
