BOTHELL, Wash. - The University of Washington Bothell Alumni Council will host its 3rd annual 5K Run-Walk to benefit scholarships for future UW Bothell students on Saturday, May 17. The 5K Run-Walk will begin at 9:00 a.m., with registration starting at 8:00 a.m.
Help support your community and raise needed scholarship funds while enjoying the scenic campus of UW Bothell and Cascadia Community College. Students from UW Bothell's BBUS 441 Project Management Class are directing this year's event.
Early bird registration for the 5K Run-Walk is available through May 11: $10-children under age 14, $15-students, $20-general. After May 11, fees increase by $5. Registrants will receive complementary t-shirts, goodie bags and admission to the post-race continental breakfast. Additional admission to the breakfast may be purchased at the door (children 10 and under free).
A silent auction featuring running gear and merchandise from local merchants will also be held after the race.
Net proceeds from both the 5K Run-Walk and the silent auction will benefit the UW Bothell Alumni Scholarship Fund.
