BOTHELL, Wash. - The Nursing Program at the University of Washington Bothell will host a Nurses' Family Night at Seattle Central Community College, 1701 Broadway, Room C-1110, on Wednesday, April 23, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Working RNs, nursing students and their families are invited to receive information about UW Bothell's RN to BSN and Master of Nursing programs, presented by faculty, current students and advisors. Free supervised children's activities and refreshments will be available.

As part of the #1 rated school of nursing in the United States, the UW Bothell's BSN and MN programs prepare graduates to be leaders in the rapidly changing world of health care.

The RN to BSN program offers full- and part-time study options with classes held one day a week during most quarters, to provide access to practicing nurses who must balance professional and personal responsibilities with educational goals.

The MN program prepares professional nurses for leadership roles in health care practice, education, administration, and research settings. Students are admitted each fall and attend classes part-time on Fridays for 2 to 3 years. The curriculum allows students to explore nursing theory, research, leadership, diversity, social justice, ethics, and program planning and evaluation.

Both programs are now accepting applications for Summer and Autumn 2008.
