Off-Campus Access Help/More Info
Effective April 1, 2004, the Campus Library & Media Center has established room-use guidelines for its Seminar/Event Room, LB1-205. These guidelines are in place to ensure that this space be available for activities that address the Library’s primary mission of supporting and enhancing teaching, learning, and research at UW Bothell and Cascadia Community College.
LB1-205 is not intended to be scheduled for classes (credit or revenue-generating), staff meetings, or other weekly meetings.
The following exceptions may be applied to requests that are course-related:
If you need a room for a small group and one is not available at your institution, the Library may be able to schedule a smaller study room for you. (Group Study Rooms are intended for student study, but on occasion may be used for faculty and staff meetings.)
General Policies:
* Note: The CMC requires 10 days notice for non-curricular events and 12 hours notice for curricular/course-related events.
Priority
Considerations
If the Library determines that an event is not appropriate for this room (e.g., too noisy); that there are not enough people attending the event to warrant its use (e.g., 15 or less); or that the number of sessions in the event/workshop would hamper its availability for other types of events, the Library has the right to decline the request for the room.
