• How do I connect to "UW Restricted" library databases from home?

  • Follow the instructions on the Connecting from Home page or use UWICK.

     

• How do I activate my library card/account?

  • There are two ways to activate your library card/account:

    1. Visit the Information Commons Desk in the Campus Library

    2. Online (NOTE: linking your card online will take approximately 2 working days to process)

     

• How do I get copies of journal articles from UW Seattle?

  • Use the Campus Library Document Delivery Service.

   

• How do I look at my library record online?

  • Login to this library web site.

   

• How do I find an article from a scholarly journal?

  • Consult this library guide for information on how to find articles.

  • This guide will help you determine whether a journal is scholarly or not.

   

• How long does it take for a book requested from one of the other UW Library branches to arrive?

  • Usually 2-5 business days (3-7 business days for requests from the Summit catalog).

   

• How long will I have to pick my requested book up once it arrives?

  • Requested books remain on the hold shelf for 7 days from the date they arrive at the Campus Library. If you won't be able to come pick it up by then, please call the Circulation Desk (425-352-5340) and we will make other arrangements for you.

• How do I reserve a group study room?

  • Current UW and CCC students, staff, and faculty can reserve group study rooms by calling 425-352-5340, or by visiting the Information Commons Desk in the Campus Library.

• How do I pay my fines?

  • Library fines can be paid four ways:

    1. Online with your credit/debit card

    2. Over the phone with your credit/debit card:

       • Library Cashier: (206) 543-1174

       • NOTE: This is the fastest way to pay your fines.  If you have a registration block on your record due to library fines, that block can be removed while you wait on the phone after you have paid

    3. By check via USPS, send payment to:

       • Suzzallo Library Cashier Box 352900, University of Washington, Seattle, WA 98195-2900

    4. Visiting the Library Cashier

       • The Library Cashier is located on the University of Washington's Seattle Campus in the Suzzallo Library
