Off-Campus Access Help/More Info

Did you know that you have access to hundreds of online databases, fulltext journals, laptops that you can checkout and take home, scanners, 50+ computers, group study rooms, quiet study areas, and helpful research librarians?

• Get your UW NetID
  You'll need this to be able to access ERes readings, UW restricted databases from off-campus, the wireless network in the Library, and to request books via the UW Libraries Catalog and Summit.
  
  
• Class research guides: Librarians often work with faculty to identify resources and search strategies linked to your class projects.
  
  
• Ask us a question! Get help using the Library and finding information. You can make an appointment with a librarian, contact us via email, or get help via our statewide real-time chat service.

• Document Delivery: Use this service to order copies of articles from other UW Libraries and beyond.

• New Student Checklist: Library and Technology Guide Follow the steps in this checklist to get access to library materials, online databases, reserve readings, etc.

• Tours and Workshops:
  • Tours - Library and Media Center tours are available by request. Contact 425-352-5340 or ask at the main desk in the Library.
  • Powerpoint workshops - free introductory and advanced workshops are offered every quarter through the Campus Media Center.
