Benefits to the Community:
- Offering
both fee-based and complimentary conferences and symposia
centered on current topics of interest for the industry including
business and economic development, scientific ad technological
advances, policy and regulatory issues, bioethics and others;
- Promoting
exchange of ideas and networking opportunities among community and
business partners through courses, seminars and roundtables;
- Improving
management practices at local businesses and community
organizations;
- Providing
internships and engaging students in experiential learning and
practical research projects; and
- Developing
collaborative efforts among UW Bothell and WA State and Federal
agencies to help expand the dynamism of WA manufacturers.
