Now accepting applications for fall 2009
Fill out and submit the Graduate School application with the required $50 application fee. This application can be saved while in progress and then submitted once it is complete. It also provides detailed instructions on submitting the remaining application materials:
- Three letters of reference, including two from faculty who can discuss your academic ability. Once you begin the on-line application in step 1, type in the three recommenders' names and email addresses. Once you submit the names, your recommenders will receive an email directing them to the website used for uploading or copy-and-pasting the recommendations. After they have submitted the recommendation, you will receive an email stating that the recommendation process has been completed. You can monitor the status of each recommendation on the application web site.
- A current resume
- A letter of application to MAPS describing relevant background and articulating goals in seeking a MAPS degree
- Scores on the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).
- An individual academic essay demonstrating your academic research ability, critical thinking skills and writing proficiency
- All official transcripts, from prior academic work
- Any additional documentation relevant for consideration by the MAPS Admissions Committee (optional)

Applications received by the priority deadline will receive priority consideration. Applications received after March 1, 2009 will be considered on a rolling-admissions basis.
